Resting in the Womb of God

1. As truth descends upon the soul, ego is seen as the illusion it is—

the illusory self. Now soul seeks more truth, seeks union with the Di-
vine and Love drives, moves the soul in a deepening of longing. Long-
ing is finally met by Divine Love and at once the soul understands the

soul’s longing had been Divine Love’s longing all along. In ecstatic

union the soul is loved into Love that dissolves even the soul—a disso-
lution of any self... lower or higher self... for Love moves beyond

union and all that remains is Love.

For all created things have disappeared and the mind has been
undone in the Absolute...

Now as created things appear, from One into One is the seeing;
Love is the movement; reason no longer needs a why and definition
can no longer explain what cannot be defined.

                              Lover and Beloved
                       God and creature so One
                          no longer two... Now who is?
                             Whose heart? Whose self when
                               true self is no self?
                      Now what is Love?
                              Love is everything
                                    the only thing...
                                Now the fire doesn’t
                                       know it is hot
                                 Because it is the fire
                                   the water doesn’t
                                      know it is wet
                               Because it is the water
                                  The wind doesn’t
                                        know it is blown
                                 Because it is the wind
                          Now Love doesn’t
                                  know it is loved
                               Because it is Love...
